my name is Ela and I am 24 years old. I was born and brought in Poland but since 2007 I live and study in Munich. I study Business Economics at Ludwig-Maximilian University.

During my university course I have had many various subjects like finance, economics, administration, however among the subjects which I enjoyed the most were business management, organizational systems and strategic marketing. Additionally, marketing is my favourite field because it not only includes nearly all major economic fields but also because I enjoy working with people.

During my studies I evolved a clear understanding of how far marketing can successfully be applied to support business, especially in modern era of globalisation.
I am very keen to gain more practical skills in working environment, especially customers’ relationship/meeting customers’ expectations. All this is already in a range of my responsibilities at work.

During last two years of my university I worked many times as a hostess on different exhibitions and I truly enjoyed it. Every exhibition was a completely new experience for me, I had an opportunity to work for companies from totally different industries, I familiarised myself with their products, customers and selling strategies. It was a fantastic chance to observe people in such an unusual work environment. For me it was like a practical seminar outside the university seminar room, learning by observing and interacting with employees. This experience helped me to learn how the business works in reality, whether or not I can apply my academic knowledge, how to present products to the customers, what are the best strategies with regards to price and market targets.

My journey with REMU started on the 19th April 2010, on the Bauma exhibition in Munich. I had an opportunity to work for REMU as a hostess; from the beginning I was fascinated by innovative products which the company have in their offer. After further research about the company and their products I decided to apply for a position in REMU. I am pleased that my application met REMU expectations and I could start working as a marketing assistant.

Before I moved to Munich in 2007 I attended college in Newport, England where I studied English language. I spent exciting twelve months in England not only learning about English culture and traditions but also meeting people from all over the world. It was a great chance to learn more about different cultures, be more flexible and diplomatic.

Living abroad has been always a strong motivation for me to learn foreign languages, cultures of different countries and their traditions. In addition to English Language I speak fluently German; I have a basic knowledge of Russian and already started my adventure with Spanish. Moreover, as probably everyone already realised I am a native speaker in Polish Language.

In my free time I enjoy outdoors activities like climbing, jogging and cycling. In addition to my enthusiasm to languages I am also passionate about photography, dancing and cooking.

Kind regards
Elżbieta Mularczyk
